Now it's an ad for "Passion Search"
If you go to your old blogs and click on any of the internal links -- such as the categories listed below the blog titles or the links to the comments -- you get a full-page pop-up ad (which gets around my browser's pop-up blocker) for a dating site called PassionSearch.
Again it looks like they are applying the ad ONLY to the "Exile" blogs. I did a spot check of several of the Exile blogs and several of the current blogs, and the PassionSearch ad showed up only on the Exile blogs.

Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.
I tried a check, but my old blog (Women Over Fifty) wouldn't load.
I tried again and got a sound overlay on the link. That is sooooo childish.
I got one ad that put a red bar up over half the screen first, then I got the giant pop up with sound.
I really hate these people. And I feel bad for searchers that land on our LJs. I suppose it's not as annoying for those searching my LJ for "shirtless Wolverine"...lol...but it's pretty obnoxious on the LJs that are informational and G-rated with readers who have no interest in "hooking up" with local singles. *sigh*
I just check both my old blogs there and I have a popup blocker so I did not get the popup however if you click the cool sites blog directory on the homepage you get a list of some porn sites again with a photo of a topless woman at the top.
These SOB's are just not going to stop are they? maybe it's time for some legal action. I'm going to talk with my attorney friend and see what he thinks.
