Did anyone get paid?
This was supposed to be the day we got our final payments, right? It's now after 5:00 on the East Coast, and I haven't heard anything from them. Has anyone heard anything or received their payment?

My account is still active so I logged into the VIP forum to see if I could answer your question. According to the admins, April's payments have been "processed," but apparently PayPal's system is "running slow." I'm not really sure what that means... I guess if you receive a check by mail it has been sent, if you receive your money through PayPal it might take time to post?

I got my e-mail from Paypal as well - I was shocked, too. I really didn't expect them to pay me.
I got mine too. I didn't think I would either.
I got paid as well. The email I'd received said I would--I'm thinking they must have thought that disgruntled bloggers would cause a hell of a lot more trouble if they didn't get their final check. That thinking was correct. :)

Hm. I wonder if they're banking (har) on the hope that all of you who got money will now become silent about them.
I think they probably knew that we would be all over it if they stiffed us.

Interestingly enough I DID get paid, and my payment was $25 MORE than it should have been. I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Did this happen to anyone else? I have no desire to ask them or communicate with them in any way, so I might not ever know.

Can't be a bonus - apparently they've "reassigned" the money from the smaller bonuses to other places.
They don't seem to be terminating my account, though I haven't posted in a while. However, there's an adminly comment on my last post, probably trying to lure me back to reply. Methinks they found themselves short of good copy even in the ghetto that is critterblogging.
Since I never actually made money at Today, I'm not worrying about doing it elsewhere either, though I did click to "Monetize my blog" at blogger. Visit if you miss me. It seems rather empty in there.
