Project Wonderful and Adgitize

I just set up my first Project Wonderful ad box, with two 125 x 125 square slots. I haven't gotten any bids I got my first bid now! Whee! My first penny. ;-)

I see some of the Exiles are using Adgitize. Do you like it? Do you get money, or credits for running your own ad? Is it like Entrecard?

For people who have been publishers with Project Wonderful longer than I have (which is 30 mintues -- heh), what do you think? Do you like it? Do you have any tips or tricks?

Ms Terri,

I haven't used Project Wonderful, but I am using Adgitize (Affiliate link.) I have been advertising on it now for about 40 hours. :D

Basically you earn points for doing different things. Each day you post an article on your blog, it equals 100 points.

You also can earn up to 100 points for clicking on ads. If you are only a Publisher, you only earn 1 point per click. But, if you are an Advertiser, and click on 50 ads, you get a bonus of 50 points.

You also can earn up to 100 points each for Page Views and Ad Views. Both of those depend on how much traffic you have, and how many adverts you have on your blog (up to 10 per blog.)

Each day everything is added up and converted into money. As a publisher, you probably will only be able to earn up to .25 cents a day. But, as an advertiser, you could earn anywhere from $.75/day to $1, or someday more. They pay people from the advertising money, so the more advertisers, the more money in the pool.

Oh, you also can earn by referring people. :D You get a one-time bonus of $5 if your referral buys an ad. Then, each month the referral renews their ad, you get a $1 bonus.

I really like it so far, and it didn't take too much figuring out. :D

I forgot to mention that as an Advertiser, you also earn an automatic bonus of 100 points. To make in the $.75 cent range, you need 300 points - which is pretty easy to do as an advertiser. :D

You know,I really do like Adgitize, but they make it virtually impossible to earn a dollar as just a publisher. Is that just a coincidence?

Dr. Lauren,

It is possible to earn some money as a publisher only, but really I don't see any drawbacks to going to the level of advertiser. You will make most, if not all of your money back, and possibly a few dollars more. So, you get lots of traffic to your website, and come out a few dollars ahead.

Is it a coincidence? I don't think so. I think it just is the fact of the matter.

I just signed up with Adgitize as a publisher. Although I'm still trying to figure it all out it looks promising so far.

Laura,

Thanks for the explanation about Adgitize..Now I have a better idea but it's so much to earn pennies.

Well I tried it for a week only as a publisher and found two things I wasn't crazy about. First it's time consuming. Even though I dropped along with EC at the same time, it still took away from other things I could have been doing. Second, two different people had complained to me that one of the ads displayed on my blog had given them viruses. I checked out the ads and sure enough there was one in particular that when you clicked it automatically showed a virus warning box. So, I decided, not for me, I didn't want to deal with all of that so I took them down.

I use Adgetize and I think last time I checked I had made 23 cents. I like CMF ads. You can use credits to advertise on other blogs or cash out and you can click the ads on your blog without a penalty.
